Midsole

The Cascadia 17 has Brooks' DNA LOFT v2 foam in the midsole. The foam is lightweight due to the right balance between the amount of rubber and air in the foam. The foam has Brooks' DNA technology, where the foam adapts to your running style. This means the shoe has a cushioning foam that ensures a smooth transition from heel to toe. The Cascadia 17 has the Trail Adapt System to create extra control and stability during your trail run. The system consists of three elements: the integrated DNA LOFT v2 foam, a protective and propulsive rock plate placed between two layers of DNA LOFT v2 and an advanced outsole system.
