The Speedgoat 3 was already an excellent shoe, but also needed a few updates. The largest updates are found in the upper of the Speedgoat 4. The upper provides more support to the feet when running. The forefoot has been given a bit more room and is more breathable.

This broad and thick midsole provides a lot of stability, even when running the most technical of trails. The Vibram Megagrip outsole made of durable rubber features 5 mm cleats.
