Midsole

The Cascadia 17 GTX has Brooks' DNA LOFT v2 foam in the midsole. The foam is lightweight due to the right balance between the amount of rubber and air in the foam. The foam has Brooks' DNA technology, where the foam adapts to your running style. This means the shoe has a cushioning foam that ensures a smooth transition from heel to toe. Trail Adapt System is the advanced system of the Cascadia 17 GTX and ensures that all elements of the sole work together. The sole consists of three elements that together provide enormous control and stability. The system allows the following three elements to work together: the integrated DNA LOFT v2 foam, a protective and propulsive rock plate placed between two layers of DNA LOFT v2 and an advanced outsole system. The Trail Adapt System provides extra control while running and creates a mix of improved propulsion and protection.

Upper

With the Cascadia upper you'll be ready for your next trail adventure. The mesh upper is comfortable and has the additional advantage that it has a ventilating function. The reinforcement at the toes protects your feet against bumps and sharp obstacles. In addition to the extra protection at the toes, the upper also has a transparent mudguard and a Gore-Tex® membrane to protect you from mud and rain showers while keeping your feet cool. With the Cascadia upper you'll be ready for your next trail adventure. The upper has a mesh upper that has a ventilating function and provides an attractive appearance. The Toe Protector provides protection against bumps and sharp obstacles. In addition, sweat vapor will have the opportunity to escape, but the shoe is protected from rain by the Gore-Tex® membrane. The pleated tongue of this shoe is connected to the upper on both sides, preventing dirt from entering the shoe and keeping the tongue centered.

Outsole

The outsole of this model makes you trail-ready. The shoe has a TrailTack Green Rubber, consists of 25% recycled materials and is long lasting, making the shoe extra durable.
