Midsole

This model features adidas' Light BOOST foam. This foam is extremely light due to its unique molecular design. The design consists of hundreds of BOOST capsules that are packed with energy, comfort and ultimate cushioning. These small capsules together provide a boost with every step you take. The Light BOOST cushioning material is very resistant to temperature changes, so you experience maximum cushioning in both warm and cold weather. By using the LEP 2.0 system (Linear Energy Push), the midfoot and forefoot are slightly stiffer, so that you use less energy per step and push off with more power. For extra stability and support, adidas has placed a Control platform made of EVA material at the heel. This is firm and encloses the heel and midfoot.

Upper

The Solarboost is made from a monomesh upper that provides breathability and flexibility. Despite the thin material, the upper does not lose its strength.

Outsole
