Altra Paradigm 7 Women

Each Altra shoe is built on a Balanced Cushioned platform that positions the heel and forefoot equidistant from the ground, so with 0mm offset, or ZeroDrop™. This natural foundation encourages better alignment, a better running style and a low-impact landing. Whether you prefer maximum cushioning, low cushioning or something in between, Balanced Cushioning lets your feet move naturally with every step.

Midsole

The Paradigm has a Standard FootShape™ fit, which does not restrict the movement of the foot, but still fits comfortably around the foot. In the midsole you will find a thick layer of Altra EGO™ MAX. This luxurious, lightweight foam has been specially developed to make running as comfortable as possible. It is relatively soft and provides good energy return. Innerflex™ technology has been applied to the midsole. This is a grid of slots that cuts through the entire midsole, both vertically and horizontally. This reduces weight and significantly increases the flexibility of the shoe without sacrificing cushioning. To ensure that you get the right support during your runs, the shoe uses the GuideRail™ support system. This technology is designed to provide support and pronation control when you start to get tired, but doesn't really affect you when you're running normally.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides flexibility and breathability in strategic places, while in other places the shoe is a bit tighter. The shoe is a bit tighter around the midfoot for a secure and supportive feeling. This upper features Altra's Fit4Her™ technology, making it suitable for the unique shape of a female foot, with a narrower heel and midfoot, a higher instep, a longer arch and a unique metatarsal distance.

Outsole

The rubber outsole of the shoe provides good grip and traction while running. Because the FootPod™ technology is incorporated into the outsole, the shoe can bend and move naturally in response to your foot movements. The Altra Paradigm 7 is the all-rounder that will boost your running experience!
