Altra Paradigm 7 Women

Whatever your running level, the Altra Paradigm 7 is the ideal anti-pronation all-round running shoe. Each Altra shoe is built on a Balanced Cushioned platform that positions the heel and forefoot equidistant from the ground, so with 0mm offset, or ZeroDrop™. This natural foundation encourages better alignment, a better running style and a low-impact landing. Whether you prefer maximum cushioning, low cushioning or something in between, Balanced Cushioning lets your feet move naturally with every step.

Midsole

With its Standard FootShape™ fit, the Paradigm offers enough space for the foot to move naturally. The midsole is made of Altra EGOTM MAX, a luxurious, lightweight foam that keeps your feet comfortable from start to finish during your run. It is relatively soft and gives good energy return. The Innerflex™ technology has been applied to the foam. This is a grid of slots that cut through the entire midsole, both vertically and horizontally. This reduces weight and dramatically increases the shoe's flexibility without sacrificing cushioning. To ensure that you get the right support during your runs, the shoe uses the GuideRail™ support system. This technology is designed to provide support and pronation control when you start to get tired, but doesn't really affect you when you're running normally.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides flexibility and breathability in strategic places, while in other places the shoe is a bit tighter. The shoe is a bit tighter around the midfoot for a secure and supportive feeling. This upper features Altra's Fit4Her™ technology, making it suitable for the unique shape of a female foot, with a narrower heel and midfoot, a higher instep, a longer arch and a unique metatarsal distance.

Outsole

The rubber outsole of the shoe provides good grip and traction while running. Because the FootPod™ technology is incorporated into the outsole, the shoe can bend and move naturally in response to your foot movements. Run at your own pace on the Altra Paradigm 7 and push your limits!
