Altra Paradigm 7 Women

Each Altra shoe is built on a Balanced Cushioned platform that positions the heel and forefoot equidistant from the ground, so with 0mm offset, or ZeroDrop™. This natural foundation encourages better alignment, a better running style and a low-impact landing. Whether you prefer maximum cushioning, low cushioning or something in between, Balanced Cushioning lets your feet move naturally with every step.

Midsole

The Paradigm has a Standard FootShape™ fit, which does not restrict the movement of the foot, but still fits comfortably around the foot. The midsole has a thick layer of Altra EGO™ MAX foam and offers maximum comfort, regardless of the distance you walk. The foam is quite soft and has good energy return. Innerflex™ technology has been applied to the midsole. This is a grid of slots that cuts through the entire midsole, both vertically and horizontally. This reduces weight and significantly increases the flexibility of the shoe without sacrificing cushioning. To ensure that you get the right support during your runs, the shoe uses the GuideRail™ support system. This technology is designed to provide support and pronation control when you start to get tired, but doesn't really affect you when you're running normally.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides support in strategic places around the midfoot and has high breathability in the forefoot. Featuring Altra's Fit4Her™ technology, the upper is designed to fit the specific shape of the female foot, which has a narrower heel and midfoot, a higher instep, a longer arch and a unique midfoot spacing.

Outsole

The rubber outsole of the shoe provides good grip and traction while running. FootPod™ technology is incorporated into the outsole. This maps the bones and tendons of the foot and ensures that the shoe can bend and move naturally. The Altra Paradigm 7, the all-rounder you can count on every run!
