Saucony Triumph 18 Men

The Saucony Triumph 18 for men in black are neutral all-round running trainers that succeed the Triumph 17. This new edition is one of Saucony's softest shoes and therefore also provides a lot of cushioning and stability when running. The upper is made of FORMFIT material. The midsole of the shoes features PWWRRUN+ material.

The upper of the Triumph 18 is made with Saucony's FORMFIT technology. Earlier this year the often used ISOFIT material was replaced with the innovative FORMFIT material. Thanks to this material the upper of the Triumph 18 has become more stable and more flexible. The new upper fits snugly around the feet and has a sock-like feel. Because the shoes wrap around the feet, they are very comfortable. The heelcap and collar have been updated to make the design of the shoes a bit more agile.

The midsole of the Triumph 18 is made of PWRRUN+ material. This makes the Triumph even softer than its predecessors. With the introduction of PWRRUN+, Saucony has increased its energy return with 5%. The softness of the midsole is clearly felt, but it doesn't surrender the shoes' responsiveness. Added underneath the heel and the toes is blown rubber, which provides more grip during landing and take-off. Thanks to this Blown Rubber the Triumph 18 is far more flexible than its predecessor.

Saucony has bid farewell to the ISOFIT upper in their Guide, Triumph and Hurricane models. That's why these new versions of the shoes are also not called the Triumph ISO 5, but instead the Triumph 18.
