Just like other famous Saucony models the Munchen 4S has a FORMFIT upper. The FORMFIT technology lets the upper work closely together with the footbed and the sides of the shoes' midsole. It is as if the feet sink into the midsole, are locked into place and become part of the shoe. This helps to ensure a lot of stability.

The EVERUN midsole cushioning material of the Munchen 3 has been replaced with a PWRRUN RS midsole. This new cushioning material ensures a good balance between responsiveness and comfortable cushioning. This makes the shoes very suitable for runners who want to run longer distances.
