A carbon plate is useless without the foam surrounding it. Saucony uses PWRRUN-PB foam for this. The foam provides a lot of cushioning and ensures that the shoes are very comfortable to run with. The PWRRUN-PB foam is also 40% lighter than the EVA material which is used in many of Saucony's allround running shoes.

Another new feature is the SpeedRoll technology. This is a combination of the round shape of the forefoot and the geometrical outsole. This combinations ensures excellent grip and stimulates the transition of the feet. It gives that feeling of being propelled forward.

The upper is inspired by athletics spikes. It is kept as thin and light as possible.
