Midsole

Upper

The Speedcross 6 has an upper that makes you trail-ready. From the midsole to the lacing system, the shoe's upper is wrapped in Salomon's SensiFit™ construction, ensuring optimal hold and a custom fit around the foot. Anti-debris mesh ensures no debris gets between your foot and the footbed. Ripstop is the weaving technique used in the shoe's construction to ensure the upper material is strong and tear-resistant. The bottom of the heel is reinforced, while the top of the heel counter remains flexible, soft, and comfortable. The advantage of this is that it doesn't put pressure on your heel bone. Outsole

For the slipperiest and muddiest surfaces, the Contagrip® Mud outsole offers maximum grip. This outsole is made of a slightly softer material to provide maximum traction on muddy and slippery surfaces. On soft surfaces, the Chevron lugs provide excellent grip; these large lugs can dig deep into the ground. Mud will quickly disappear under the outsole thanks to the large spaces between the lugs.
