Midsole

Upper

The Speedcross has an upper specifically designed for trail runners. The upper part of the shoe is covered by Salomon's SensiFit™ construction, from the midsole to the lacing system, and thus provides optimal support and a customized fit around the foot. Furthermore, the anti-debris mesh prevents dirt from getting between your foot and the footbed. The ripstop weaving technique is used to make the shoe's upper material strong and tear-resistant. The bottom of the heel is reinforced while the top of the heel counter remains flexible, soft and comfortable. The advantage of this is that it does not create pressure on your heel bone.
