Salomon Speedcross 6 GTX Women

Midsole

The midsole has EnergyCell+™ foam, a soft foam with a high degree of energy return that consists of durable materials, which ensures that you can comfortably cover your kilometers during your longer trail runs.

Upper

The Speedcross GTX has an upper specifically designed for trail runners. The upper of the shoe is covered by Salomon's SensiFit™ construction, from the midsole to the lacing system, and thus provides optimal support and a customized fit around the foot. Sweat vapor will have the chance to escape, but from rain the shoe is protected by the Gore-Tex® membrane. In addition to Gore-Tex®, the anti-debris mesh prevents dirt from getting between your foot and the footbed. The ripstop weaving technique is used to make the shoe's upper material strong and tear-resistant. With this shoe, the bottom of the heel is reinforced while the top is flexible, soft and comfortable. This will not put pressure on your heel bone. Finally, the shoe has the Quicklace lacing system to easily loosen and tighten your laces. This means you no longer have to worry about laces that can get stuck in branches while running.

Outsole

The Contagrip® Mud outsole offers maximum grip for the most slippery and muddy surfaces. This outsole has a slightly softer material to provide maximum grip on muddy and slippery surfaces. The sole features Chevron studs that allow it to settle deep into soft ground. The large spaces between the studs ensure that mud disappears quickly.
