Midsole

Salomon's Energy Foam is specially designed for longer distances and is a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This foam is lightweight and provides enormous cushioning to push you forward with every step you take. The shoe also has an Energy Blade, which is a lightweight TPU plate that is placed in the midsole. This gives you a push in the back while walking. The plate provides extra speed, smooth take-off and a balanced transition from heel to forefoot. There is a smooth transition from heel to forefoot while running, thanks to the Reverse Camber technology. Many Salomon shoes use Reverse Camber technology, the shoe has a round "rocker sole" where the toe part of the shoe is extra raised.
