Midsole

To maintain good cushioning during your longer trail runs, this shoe has Energy Foam. This foam from Salomon is responsive and made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). It offers a high degree of energy return and is lightweight, the advantage? The feeling that you are being pushed forward with every step you take. ProFeel Film is a flexible protection plate above the outsole. The plate protects your foot against sharp objects during your trail run and thus acts as a filter between you and the terrain you are running on. The EVA insole offers a flexible fit and extra support where you need it.

Upper

With the upper of the S/LAB PULSAR SG you are ready for your next trail adventure. The upper consists of breathable Matryx® mesh that is reinforced with aramid fibers, Matryx® completely envelops your foot for a personal fit. Furthermore, the anti-debris mesh prevents dirt from getting between your foot and the footbed. This model has an integrated sock and ensures that no dirt gets into your shoe. The sock also offers extra protection and ensures a better connection. Finally, the shoe has the Quicklace lacing system to easily loosen and tighten your laces. The lacing system ensures that the laces do not come loose while walking. You also no longer have to worry about loose ends that can get stuck in branches while running. To store the laces safely, the shoe lip has a lace pocket.

Outsole

When the paths become muddy or wet you need extra grip, which is what the Contagrip® Mud outsole provides. This outsole has a slightly softer material to provide maximum grip on muddy and slippery surfaces. On soft surfaces, the Chevron studs provide good grip, these large studs can settle deep in the ground. Mud will quickly disappear under the sole due to the large spaces between the studs.
