Midsole

This model has a foam specially developed for longer distances. This concerns Salomon's Energy Foam, a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This foam is lightweight and provides enormous cushioning to push you forward with every step you take. ProFeel Film is a flexible protection plate above the outsole. The plate protects your foot against sharp objects during your trail run and thus acts as a filter between you and the terrain you are running on. Finally, the shoe has a special sockliner called EndoFit™, which is designed to hug the foot in exactly the right places and provide a snug fit.

Upper

This model has an integrated sock and ensures that no dirt gets into your shoe. The sock also offers extra protection and ensures a better connection. Finally, the shoes are equipped with the Quicklace lacing system, so your laces will never come loose while running. You also no longer have to worry about laces that can get stuck in branches while running.

Outsole

To ensure mega-grip, this model has the Contagrip® All Terrain outsole so you can walk on any trail without a doubt.
