Midsole

This model has a foam specially developed for longer distances. This concerns Salomon's Energy Foam, a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This foam is lightweight and provides enormous cushioning to push you forward with every step you take. In addition to the cushioning of the foam, the Energy Blade provides extra speed. The Energy Blade is a lightweight TPU plate placed in the midsole. This plate provides extra power and propulsion in your running stride, resulting in a smooth push-off and a balanced transition from heel to forefoot. Many Salomon shoes use Reverse Camber technology, this technology provides a round “rocker sole” where the toe part of the shoe is extra raised. This will give you a smooth transition of your feet while running.

Upper

The Phantasm has an engineered mesh upper and offers very high breathability and a lot of flexibility.

Outsole
