Salomon Genesis Men

Hike challenging trail routes with the Salomon Genesis. A technical trail shoe with a coarse outsole to provide good grip on rough terrain with, for example, steep climbs or loose boulders. This model can be used for both short and long distances. The shoe when you are facing a challenge!

Midsole

This model has a foam specially developed for longer distances. It is Salomon's Energy Foam, a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This foam is lightweight and provides a lot of cushioning to push you forward with every step you take. The 3D Advanced Chassis is located between the outsole and midsole. This sturdy frame offers extra protection to the underfoot and ensures a more stable gait. The frame offers a stable base for the foot, which is especially important when moving on uneven terrain in nature. It helps to stabilize the foot and reduces the chance of sprains or injuries.

Upper

With the upper of the Genesis you are ready for your next trail adventure. The upper consists of breathable Matryx® mesh reinforced with aramid fibers, Matryx® completely envelops your foot for a personal fit. The toe area is reinforced to provide extra protection against impacts and sharp objects. The EVA sock provides extra support where needed and ensures a flexible fit. An integrated sock ensures that no dirt gets into your shoe. The sock offers extra protection, is very comfortable and ensures a tight fit. Finally, the shoes are equipped with the Quicklace lacing system, so that your laces will never come loose while running. You will also no longer be bothered by laces that can get caught in branches while running.

Outsole

The Contagrip® All Terrain outsole is there to run with confidence on varying trails. It offers optimal grip, both on wet, loose surfaces and on dry and hard surfaces. The sole adapts to every surface without sacrificing grip, a true all-rounder. The Genesis has deep studs of 4.5 mm long especially for muddy and technical trails.
