Salomon Genesis Men

Midsole

This model has a foam specially developed for longer distances. It is Salomon's Energy Foam, a responsive foam made by combining EVA and Olefin (OBC). This foam is lightweight and provides a lot of cushioning to push you forward with every step you take. The 3D Advanced Chassis is a sturdy frame that is located between the midsole and the outsole. The frame protects the underfoot, optimizes your movement control and thus ensures a more stable running gait. The frame offers a stable base for the foot, which is especially important when moving on uneven terrain in nature. It helps stabilize the foot and reduces the chance of sprains or injuries.

Upper

The Genesis has an upper that makes you trail-ready. The upper consists of breathable Matryx® mesh that is reinforced with aramid fibers, which ensures an excellent fit. The shoe also has a toe protector to provide extra protection while running. The EVA insole offers a flexible fit and extra support where you need it. To ensure that no debris gets into your shoe, the shoe has an integrated sock. The sock offers extra protection and has the additional benefits of being comfortable and ensuring a better fit. Finally, the shoes are equipped with the Quicklace lacing system, so that your laces will never come loose while running. You will also no longer be bothered by laces that can get caught in branches while running.

Outsole

The Contagrip® All Terrain outsole is there to run with confidence on varying trails. It offers optimal grip, both on wet, loose surfaces and on dry and hard surfaces.
