Midsole

The Cloudflow 5 features a modern midsole made of ultra-soft Helion™ HyperFoam, made from Pebax®. This high-performance foam provides excellent cushioning and a high level of energy return, allowing you to maintain your speed. The foam is combined with the unique CloudTec® technology. CloudTec® are the "clouds" that absorb both horizontal and vertical shocks, making your landing extra soft. Once your feet touch the ground, the clouds stay firmly in place, allowing you to continue with a powerful push-off. The midsole also features a Speedboard®, a plastic plate that flexes as you run, allowing you to push off faster.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides flexibility and breathability in strategic areas, while elsewhere the shoe fits more snugly. The shoe is slightly tighter around the midfoot for a secure and supportive feel.
