Midsole
The Cloudboom Max features a modern midsole made of ultra-soft Helion™ HyperFoam, made from Pebax®. This high-performance foam provides excellent cushioning and a high level of energy return, keeping you running at speed. The foam is combined with the unique CloudTec® technology. CloudTec® are the "clouds" that absorb both horizontal and vertical shocks, making your landing extra soft. Once your feet touch the ground, the clouds stay firmly in place, allowing you to continue with a powerful push-off. The midsole also features the signature Speedboard®, a plastic plate that flexes as you run, providing a responsive feel during push-off.
Upper
The Swiss-Engineered mesh upper provides flexibility and breathability in strategic areas, while the shoe fits more snugly in other areas. The shoe is slightly tighter around the midfoot for a secure and supportive feel. The upper is also made of recycled materials. Outsole
