Midsole
The Cloudboom Max features ultra-soft Helion™ HyperFoam made from Pebax®. Even when your run gets tough, Helion™ HyperFoam offers high levels of energy return, helping you maintain your speed. The foam is combined with the unique CloudTec® technology. CloudTec® are the "clouds" that absorb both horizontal and vertical shocks, making your landing extra soft. As soon as your feet touch the ground, the clouds stay firmly in place, allowing you to continue with a powerful push-off. The midsole also features a Speedboard®, a plastic plate that flexes as you run, allowing you to push off faster.
Upper
The Swiss-Engineered mesh upper provides flexibility and breathability in strategic areas, while the shoe fits more snugly in other areas. The shoe is slightly tighter around the midfoot for a secure and supportive feel. The upper is also made of recycled materials.
