Midsole

The Helion™ foam in the midsole gives your feet a lightweight feel and provides ample cushioning with every step you take. The foam is combined with the unique CloudTec® technology. CloudTec® are the 'clouds' that absorb shock both horizontally and vertically, making your landing extra soft. As soon as your feet hit the ground, the Clouds stay firmly in place so you can continue with a powerful push-off.

Upperwork

The upper of the Cloud X 5 is made of lightweight mesh that wicks moisture away from your foot, keeping you cool and dry while running. Part of the mesh is made from recycled materials. The upper is finished with a padded tongue. This distributes the pressure from the laces, prevents pain, and provides a comfortable feel.

Outsole
