The Nike Zoom SD 4 is specially developed for the throwing events within athletics, such as shot put and discus throw. The shoes have rounded edges, which makes turning easier, which reduces the force on the joints. Thanks to the advanced materials and the well-thought-out design of this shot/discus shoe, you feel unprecedented stability and explosiveness with every throw, which increases your confidence and precision. The shoe for the disciplines shot put and discus throw!
Sole
To make your runs comfortable, Nike has added an EVA midsole that provides plenty of cushioning and effective protection while running. In the middle of the midsole is a pebax plate to ensure a powerful push-off with every step you take.
Upper
Nike has used synthetic yarns in the upper of this shoe. Flywire technology replaces laces with high-tensile wires that work like suspension cables and provide precise support. The outsole is made of carbon rubber and has a coarse profile for a lot of grip on every type of surface.
