Sole

The Air Zoom LJ Elite contains an Air unit in the forefoot. This well-known Nike technology gives a light-footed and energetic feeling, both when you land on the forefoot and when you take off for your jump. The wider design at the forefoot gives a little extra stability. To contribute to that stability during your sprint and take-off, a full-length carbon plate has been added. These spikes are finished with a lightweight outsole. At the heel, the sole provides extra cushioning for your landing. The pattern in the outsole is inspired by a shark skin. This rough pattern provides grip and traction during take-off and landing. The 6 spike points in the forefoot contribute to this.
