Sole

The forefoot of Air Zoom LJ Elite is equipped with an Air unit, which makes the shoe feel light and energetic, both when landing on the forefoot and when taking off for a jump. The wider design at the forefoot gives you more stability. The spike has a full-length carbon plate. This contributes to stability during sprints and starts. The compression foam in the heel provides extra cushioning at the heel during landings. The outsole pattern is inspired by shark skin. As you take off and land, this rough pattern provides grip and traction. This is further reinforced by the 6 spike points in the forefoot.
