The upper of these second version has been updated and now is made of Waveknit material. This 3D woven material ensures a perfect snug fit. The external heelcap provides a lot of stability and the pull-tab on the back makes it easy to put on and take off the shoes.

With two layers of Mizuno ENERZY CORE in the midsole, the Sky Neo 2 provides a lot of cushioning and energy return. The material is 29% lighter and 56% more springy than the midsole of the original Wave Rider Sky Neo. The sock-like construction in combination with the U4icX material, the Mizuno ENERXY and the Mizuno Foam Wave ensure a lot of stability. The outsole is made of blown carbon rubber. Thanks to this the shoes are extra durable and provide excellent grip.
