Midsole

The Wave Rider 27 with Enerzy foam provides excellent cushioning and energy return while at the same time good durability. This means that the shoe retains its cushioning value for a long time. The midsole contains the well-known Wave Plate, which is a plastic plate in the shape of a wave. This wave shape ensures a stable landing and more resilience during take-off. The Wave Plate is slightly reinforced on the inside. When walking, this gives a slightly more stable feeling when tired. Finally, the shoe has a comfortable insole that is removable.

Upper

Running with the Wave Rider is comfortable due to the mesh upper, which provides plenty of ventilation. Mizuno also uses 90% recycled materials in the upper to reduce its impact on the environment.

Outsole

This model has an X10 outsole that is designed to be extremely durable and therefore long lasting. The X10 outsole is made of carbon and provides extra support in strategic places.
