Karhu shoes are all about comfort and a good fit. That is why Ortix Fit was developed. The Ortix Fit refers to the geometry of the midsole, the volume of the upper and the overall dimensions of the shoe. To create his Ortix Fit, Karhu analyzed no fewer than 3 million foot scans. Then HiVo, the ideal shoe for men, and HeraFit, the ideal shoe for women, were developed.
Midsole
The midsole of the shoe is made of AeroFoam, patented by Karhu. AeroFoam is lighter, more durable and more resistant to extreme temperature changes. Using Fulcrum technology and a propulsion plate in the midsole, this shoe moves forward by providing a balanced cushion, more support and more energy as you push off.
Upper
The Ikoni has an Ideal Knit mesh upper. The upper feels pleasant and has great breathability. The M-lock system ensures a good lockdown of the foot.
