The Karhu Ikoni 2021 for men are neutral, all-round running shoes. The Ikoni is suitable for many types of runners, from the casual fitness enthusiast to the athlete who runs serious miles every week. The Ikoni comes with a High Volume (HiVo) fit. This fit gives more room in the forefoot.
The Ikoni has a longer Fulcrum technology block for more cushioning and support, making it an ideal shoe for the neutral and light to moderate overpronator.
By analyzing the scan data, Karhu has developed an all-new upper to improve fit and performance. The upper consists of seamless Ideal Knit mesh, which also makes the shoe very breathable. Due to the anatomical design, the laces provide better support. The upper follows the contours of your foot, making the shoe feel comfortable.
The Ikoni 21 stays true to its iconic identity, but gets an update with increased cushioning through the AeroFoam that is softer and lighter.
Karhu uses their Fulcrum technology. This technology is specially designed to move forward the forces released during walking and reduce braking forces. The runner's energy is converted into a forward movement, also known as the "rolling effect".
