Karhu shoes are all about comfort and a good fit. That is why Ortix Fit was developed. The Ortix Fit refers to the geometry of the midsole, the volume of the upper and the overall dimensions of the shoe. To create his Ortix Fit, Karhu analyzed no less than 3 million foot scans. Then HiVo, the ideal shoe for men, and HeraFit, the ideal shoe for women, were developed.
Midsole
The midsole of this shoe is made of AeroFoam. This material, patented by Karhu, is lighter, more resistant to extreme temperature changes and more durable than traditional EVA foam. In addition, the combination of the injected nitrogen and 22 mm stack height at the forefoot ensures more energy return and reactivity. The women's last is specifically designed for the anatomy of the women's foot. The name Karhu uses for this is HeraFit.
