The Inov-8 Trailtalon 290 is an all-round trail shoe for the neutral runner. This trail shoe is designed for long trails on varied terrain. Compared to its predecessors, this model has better breathability.

The upper features the new generation of ADAPTERFIT technology. This technology ensures that your feet are stable in the shoe and the forefoot has room to spread. With long distances, your feet will expand more and this shoe takes that into account. On the heel is the External Heel Cage (EHC) that provides stability when walking on unpaved paths. You can also attach a trail gaitor to the external heel counter.

The Powerflow midsole consists of two different materials. This ensures maximum comfort and as much energy return as possible. This is nice when running long ultra trails if you experience some tired legs. The Dynamic Fascia band is incorporated in the midsole.
