The Inov-8 Trailfly G 270 are neutral, all-round trail shoes. The Inov-8 Trailfly G 270 is the successor to the Terra Ultra G 270. These trail shoes are designed for running highly technical trails and longer distances.

The POWERFLOW midsole has been replaced by a POWERFLOW MAX midsole. This sole is 33% thicker compared to its predecessor. As a result, this trail shoe has more cushioning and comfort for walking longer distances. The BOOMERANG footbed that has been added provides 40% extra energy return and gives you a boost to the forefoot.

The improvement of the upper has also been considered when designing the new Inov-8 Trailfly G 270. The redesigned tongue is thin and molds nicely around the foot. The fit in the forefoot has been made wider, which is especially beneficial when the feet expand when walking longer distances.

Graphene has been added to the rubber outsole, which is what the G in the name of the shoe stands for. Graphene consists of a low carbon material. It is very flexible and thin. Despite this, graphene is 200 times stronger than steel. As a result, it offers a lot of protection and reinforcement for the feet. The use of graphene makes the outsole of the Trailfly G 270 stronger, more stretchy and more resistant to wear than the average outsole of running shoes. The 4mm studs in the outsole bite into mud and other soft surfaces. These studs are designed in such a way that water is quickly drained for extra grip on hard and wet surfaces.
