Midsole

HOKA has added PROFLY™ to make your runs as comfortable as possible. PROFLY™ provides a cushioned landing and a responsive take-off, leading to a uniquely soft yet snappy running feeling. The PROFLY™ midsole combines light, responsive foam with ultra-soft foam underfoot to create a responsive and lightweight midsole. The Early stage Meta-Rocker geometry contributes to a quick gait of the feet, as the transition zone is placed behind the metatarsal bones. This ensures a smoother step and a faster transition to the forefoot, which contributes to an explosive feeling. The full-length carbon plate provides a smooth and fast gait of the feet and returns a lot of energy while walking. In addition, the plate provides extra stability and makes your steps longer.

Upper

The upper of the Rocket is made of mesh, for good breathability. To keep the tongue centered and prevent dirt from entering the shoe, a pleated tongue is connected to both sides of the upper.

Outsole

The outsole is made of Durabrasion rubber and has a coarse profile for great grip on any type of surface. Zones of abrasion-resistant rubber have been added to the heel and forefoot for improved durability. You'll feel every step brings you closer to the finish in the HOKA Rocket X, with maximum grip, optimal cushioning and a lightweight design.
