Midsole

The Mafate 5 features a Dual-density midsole with a Super Critical foam top layer. This midsole consists of two layers of foam: a stable base and an energetic top layer. The top layer is made of a Super Critical foam that provides lightweight, explosive cushioning, while the bottom layer offers structure and balance. Upperwork

The shoe features a warp knit upper and is specifically designed to make it extremely lightweight and provide ventilation. In addition to breathability, the upper offers targeted structure.

Outsole

To ensure mega-grip, this model features the Vibram® Megagrip outsole to tackle any trail without any doubt. The sole offers optimal grip on wet, loose surfaces as well as dry, hard surfaces. Vibram® Megagrip has strategically placed lugs to provide good traction, and each lug also features small dots on the side to offer extra traction on unpaved paths.
