Midsole

The Cascadia 17 GTX has the DNA LOFT v2 foam, the foam that adapts to your running style. The foam is extremely light and Brooks has found the right balance between the right amount of air and rubber in the foam. The result is a responsive foam with good cushioning that ensures a smooth transition from heel to toe. The Cascadia 17 GTX has the Trail Adapt System to create extra control and stability during your trail run. The system consists of three elements: the integrated DNA LOFT v2 foam, a protective and propulsive rock plate placed between two layers of DNA LOFT v2 and an advanced outsole system. The three elements work closely together to create a shoe that can handle varying terrain and adapts to your running style.

Upper

With the Cascadia upper you'll be ready for your next trail adventure. The mesh upper is comfortable and has the additional advantage that it has a ventilating function. The reinforcement at the toes protects your feet against bumps and sharp obstacles. In addition to the extra protection at the toes, the upper also has a transparent mudguard and a Gore-Tex® membrane to protect you from mud and rain showers while keeping your feet cool. The Cascadia has an upper that makes you trail-ready. The mesh upper is comfortable and has the additional advantage that it has a ventilating function. The toe part of the shoe is extra reinforced to protect your toes during your run through nature. In addition, sweat vapor will have the opportunity to escape, but the shoe is protected from rain by the Gore-Tex® membrane. Outsole
