This shoe was designed in collaboration with Lucy Charles Barkley, current Ironman world champion and course record holder. In 2023, she won the gold medal in Kona, where she previously won silver four times. The shoe reflects elements of her nickname 'the Mermaid' and her Never Give Up mentality.

    Midsole

This shoe has FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO cushioning in the midsole. The foam provides softer landings and extra cushioning, this foam also makes it very comfortable to walk on harder surfaces. The foam is made on a sustainable basis and consists of 20% recycled materials.

    Upper

The upper is made of technical knitted mesh. The breathability of the upper keeps your feet comfortable. In this shoe, the bottom of the heel is reinforced while the upper is flexible, soft and comfortable. Your heel bone will not be under pressure.

    Outsole

The shoe has an AHARPLUS™ outsole. This material has excellent abrasion resistance. This feature has been improved by adding rubber material that is also used in car tires that require high durability. This makes the outsole three times more durable than a conventional rubber outsole. The outsole also offers excellent grip and traction on both dry and wet surfaces. Start your running session with the ASICS Superblast 2 and pursue your goals!
