ASICS Metaspeed Sky+ Unisex

The ASICS Metaspeed Sky + are competition shoes for the neutral runner. The Metaspeed Sky+ is designed for the "stride runner". These are runners who get their speed from extending their strides. This competition shoe is suitable for breaking records on the 5 km up to and including the marathon.

What are the updates compared to the predecessor? Firstly, the position of the carbon plate has been adjusted. In the Metaspeed Sky+, the carbon plate is a bit higher in the shoe for a more direct feeling under the foot. In addition, the nose of this competition shoe is a bit more up to generate a forward push. Finally, the Metaspeed Sky+ has a new “motion wrap” upper. This material is lighter, provides more breathability and is extra reinforced at various points to perfectly enclose the feet.

The midsole consists of FLYTEFOAM Blast Turbo, a foam material that is no less than 30% more resilient than FLYTEFOAM Blast. This provides a soft and bouncy feeling when running long distances. The carbon plate and this foam give you a propulsive movement.
