The ASICS Magic Speed 2 Ekiden is a competition shoe for the neutral runner. The Ekiden version of the Magic Speed 2 is named after the Japanese Ekiden relay, which focuses on teamwork and competition.
The upper contains engineered mesh for good support and breathability to stay comfortable during your run!
The midsole features FF Blast™ technology, which provides lightweight cushioning, a snug fit and responsive rebound. Guidesole™ technology helps conserve energy. A lightweight carbon plate runs from the midfoot to the front for structure at the toe area and springy support.
The heel is fitted with a soft FlyteFoam foam. The sustainable dyeing process of the sockliner helps to reduce water consumption and carbon emissions. In addition, the shoe is very durable, thanks to the AHAR outsole (Asics High Abrasion Rubber).
