ASICS GT-4000 3 (Wide) Men

Midsole

The midsole of the model consists of FLYTEFOAM PROPEL™ cushioning. This foam has a low density and consists of integrated nanofibers for shape retention during longer training sessions. During your run you will experience extra comfort thanks to this foam, and the cushioning also provides a lot of energy return. In addition to the foam, GEL™ technology has been implemented in the midsole to soften the landing and improve shock absorption. LITETRUSS™ technology provides extra support while walking. This technology comes in the form of a correction block on the inside of the shoe. This block ensures that your foot and ankle cannot collapse inward during the movement. The 3D SPACE CONSTRUCTION™ ensures that the heel counter gets a customized fit. The construction is adapted to the shape of the foot of both men and women. The advantage is more compression during a heel landing, which ensures a smoother transition. Finally, the ORTHOLITE™ X-30 insole provides soft step-in comfort and long-lasting cushioning. The sole is made of open cells, which keeps your feet cool while running.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides support in strategic places around the midfoot and has high breathability in the forefoot.

Outsole

The outsole of this shoe consists of two parts. AHARPLUS™ is used under the heel. This material is three times as durable as a regular rubber outsole. AHAR™ is used under the midfoot and forefoot. This material is twice as durable as regular rubber and, due to its spongy structure, also weighs 50% less. By combining these technologies, the outsole has excellent grip and traction.
