Midsole

To make your runs comfortable, ASICS has added an EVA midsole that provides plenty of cushioning and effective protection while running. In addition, the midsole, the heel of the shoe is equipped with ASICS' GEL™ technology to absorb the shock with every step and soften the heel landing. LITETRUSS™ is a correction block on the inside of the shoe that ensures that your foot and ankle cannot collapse inwards during the transition.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides support in strategic places around the midfoot and has high breathability in the forefoot. The lacing with Velcro at the midfoot provides a good lockdown feeling and extra support at the midfoot. With this shoe, the bottom of the heel is reinforced while the top is flexible, soft and comfortable. This will not put pressure on your heel bone.
