Midsole

To make your runs comfortable, ASICS has added an EVA midsole that provides plenty of cushioning and effective protection while running. Complementing the foam in the midsole, ASICS has added its well-known GEL™ technology in the heel. Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides flexibility and breathability in strategic places, while in other places the shoe is a bit tighter. The shoe is a bit tighter around the midfoot for a secure and supportive feeling. The bottom of the heel is reinforced while the top of the heel counter remains flexible, soft and comfortable. The advantage of this is that it does not create pressure on your heel bone.
