Midsole

Furthermore, in addition to the foam, this model also has ASICS' GEL™ technology incorporated in the heel, which improves shock absorption and makes the heel landing softer. LITETRUSS™ technology provides extra support while walking. This technology comes in the form of a correction block on the inside of the shoe. Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides flexibility and breathability in strategic places, while in other places the shoe is a bit tighter. The shoe is a bit tighter around the midfoot for a secure and supportive feeling. The bottom of the heel is reinforced while the top of the heel counter remains flexible, soft and comfortable.
