This new version of the shoe has been updated with a GORE-TEX upper, so your feet stay dry at all times. The fit of the upper has also been greatly improved: a new last has been incorporated for a better fit at the midfoot and heel, while the wider front allows the toes to spread out. The AmpliFoam™ cushioning increases the durability of the upper and provides support, allowing you to walk longer on the Gel Sonoma 6 GTX. The updated rearfoot and forefoot Gel™ technology improve shock absorption and provide a softer landing. In addition, the OrthoLite™ sockliner insole offers a soft step-in comfort. The design allows for full ground contact resulting in a more comfortable run. In addition, this shoe has a rubber outsole and rubber stitching on the toe box to improve durability.
