Midsole

The midsole is made up of two foams. Directly under the foot, you will find a layer of Altra EGO™ PRO, a super lightweight and responsive foam. The bottom layer of the midsole consists of Altra EGO™ MAX. This luxurious, lightweight foam has been specially developed to make running as comfortable as possible. It is relatively soft and provides good energy return. With its Standard FootShape™ fit, the Mont Blanc Carbon offers ample room for the foot to move naturally. The full Carbitex™ carbon plate is designed to flex naturally with your foot.

Upperwork

In strategic places, the Engineered Mesh upper provides flexibility and breathability, while in other areas the shoe fits a bit tighter. The shoe is somewhat tighter around the midfoot for a secure and supportive feel.

Outsole

The shoe utilizes an innovative outsole technology developed by Vibram in collaboration with top athletes, called Vibram Litebase. The Vibram Litebase outsole reduces sole thickness by 50%, reduces weight by 30%, and retains 100% of the grip, traction, and durability Vibram is known for.
