Altra Mont Blanc Carbon Men

In the Mont Blanc Carbon you can run fast times up to and including the marathon on the trails, but also long endurance runs at a higher pace. The Altra Mont Blanc Carbon are neutral trail shoes that are suitable for running competitions or fast training on the trail. Every Altra shoe is built on a Balanced Cushioned platform that positions the heel and forefoot equidistant from the ground, with 0mm of offset, or ZeroDrop™. This natural base encourages better alignment, a better running form, and a low-impact landing. Whether you prefer maximum cushioning, low cushioning, or something in between, Balanced Cushioning lets your feet move naturally with every step.

Midsole

The Mont Blanc Carbon has the Standard FootShape™ fit. This fit gives the foot enough space to move naturally. The midsole is made up of three different parts. Directly under the foot you will find a layer of Altra EGO™ PRO, a super lightweight and responsive foam. The bottom layer of the midsole consists of Altra EGO™ MAX. This luxurious, lightweight foam has been specially developed to make running as comfortable as possible. It is relatively soft and provides good energy return. Between these two layers, Altra has placed a carbon plate specially made for trail running called the Carbitex™ over the entire length of the shoe. This plate gives you extra speed and efficiency without compromising the stability of the shoe.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides support in strategic places around the midfoot and has a high breathability in the forefoot. Altra has used synthetic yarns in the upper of this shoe. Altra's Fit4Her™ technology ensures that the shoe adapts to the unique shape of the female foot, which has a narrower heel and midfoot, as well as a higher instep, a longer arch and a unique midfoot distance.

Outsole

The shoe uses an innovative outsole technology developed by Vibram in collaboration with top athletes, called Vibram Litebase. The Vibram Litebase outsole reduces the thickness of the sole by 50%, reduces the weight by 30% and retains 100% of the grip, traction and durability that Vibram is known for.
