Altra Lone Peak 8 Men

Every Altra shoe is built on a Balanced Cushioned platform that positions the heel and forefoot equidistant from the ground, with 0mm offset, or ZeroDrop™. This natural base encourages better alignment, a better running form, and a low-impact landing. Whether you prefer maximum cushioning, low cushioning, or something in between, Balanced Cushioning lets your feet move naturally with every step.

Midsole

The midsole uses a slightly harder foam with good energy return. This foam is specially developed to offer you the most comfort during your run, regardless of the distance. The Lone Peak has the Original FootShape™ fit. This is Altra's widest fit, which gives your foot the space to move naturally. This shoe contains Altra's own removable rock plate, StoneGuard™. The StoneGuard™ is a thin plastic insole. They are supplied generically and must therefore be cut to size for your shoe. The shoe protects your foot from sharp stones by placing them between the insole and the midsole.

Upper

This shoe uses ripstop weaving technology for the upper, making it resilient and durable. GaiterTrap™ allows you to easily attach your gaiters to the shoe, preventing sand and dirt from getting in.

Outsole
