Altra Lone Peak 7 Women

Each Altra shoe is built on a Balanced Cushioned platform that positions the heel and forefoot equidistant from the ground, so with 0mm offset, or ZeroDrop™. This natural foundation encourages better alignment, a better running style and a low-impact landing. Whether you prefer maximum cushioning, low cushioning or something in between, Balanced Cushioning lets your feet move naturally with every step.

Midsole

The Lone Peak has the Original FootShape™ fit. This is Altra's widest fit which gives your foot room to move naturally. A slightly harder foam is used in the midsole with good energy return. This foam has been specially developed to offer you the most comfort during your run, regardless of the distance. The StoneGuard™, Altra's removable rock plate, is included with this shoe. The StoneGuard™ is a thin plastic insole. This is supplied generically and must therefore be cut to fit your shoe. When placed between the midsole and the insole, it protects your foot from sharp stones.

Upper

The quick-drying Quick Dry Air Mesh upper absorbs sweat from your feet and pushes it out to promote natural evaporation. This way your feet stay dry and comfortable. This upper features Altra's Fit4Her™ technology, making it suitable for the unique shape of a female foot, with a narrower heel and midfoot, a higher instep, a longer arch and a unique metatarsal distance. Thanks to GaiterTrap™ you can easily attach your Gaiters to the shoe, preventing sand and dirt from entering.

Outsole
