Part of adidas' Run for the Oceans collection, this product is made from yarn made with Parley Ocean Plastic: recycled plastic waste intercepted from remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and coastlines that prevents pollution of our oceans.

Midsole

The shoe has the Light BOOST foam. The foam is known for its light weight due to the unique molecular design. This design consists of hundreds of BOOST capsules that are full of energy and provide extra comfort and ultimate cushioning. The capsules together provide a boost with every step you take during your run. An additional advantage is that the foam is very resistant to temperature changes. Whatever the weather, you are ready to run, partly because of this foam. By using the Linear Energy Push system, the midfoot and forefoot are slightly stiffer, so that you use less energy per step and push off with more power.

Upper

90% of the materials used in the PRIMEKNIT+ upper of the Ultraboost Light are recycled. The High Performance upper comfortably encloses the feet without restricting them. Because the upper is seamless, it offers great comfort and ease of wearing.

Outsole

Continental™ Better Rubber has been used in the forefoot for extra grip, even in wet conditions. Better Rubber is an innovative, sustainable type of rubber that consists of 70% natural rubber, 20% virgin rubber and 10% conventional rubber.
