The shoe is lightweight and quite simple. No complicated technologies have been used. Less is more, a reliable, fine running shoe.

The upper is made of breathable mesh material. The mesh upper has reinforcing pieces so that the shoe offers more support. The heel is slightly narrower than the SolarGlide 4. The heel fits better to provide more support again. It is made of X-hatch tactic, a breathable material to improve breathability. The optimised cushioning in the collar and tongue of the shoe provide more comfort and a superior entry feeling. The upper is made of recycled material and plastic.

The midsole features the new Bubble Boost material. This material provides more energy return, cushioning and comfort than the other Boost material. With every stride you make, the cushioning material absorbs the impact and converts it into energy. That energy is returned at the push-off. Together with the light weight, this gives an energetic feeling during your run. The Continental outsole is designed to provide maximum grip where you need it during the walking stride. In some places, more or less rubber is placed for the perfect gait.
